Chris Ruden did an amazing job and told an inspiring story of his life's journey. The audience laughed, cried and were struck by his honesty and humbleness. Chris Ruden, recently seen on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's new TV show Titan Games, Is a world record holding powerlifter who was born with a birth defect and later diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Through his keynotes and broad social media reach, totaling 4.7 million views and over 80,000 followers, Chris helps people shift their perspective on hardship while simultaneously promoting diversity and inclusion for people of all abilities. Chris grew up in a poor neighborhood with a physical disability so he is no stranger to struggle, struggle that he almost didn't survive. After spending over 17 years hiding his disability, Chris learned and now shares how to change perspectives, turning his health issues into wealth issues. Chris refuses to let anyone stay beaten down by the struggles life throws at them and strives to be the mentor, role model, and everyday hero he wishes he had growing up. Chris has been featured in Men's Health, Washington Post, NBC, Right This Minute News and much more. Chris has spoken at over 60 events including international events in Uganda, Africa, and the Bahamas.
